# Djingr

> Djingr is a B2B cross-border payments company. It uses the Bitcoin Lightning
> Network as settlement rails to move money between countries in about a minute,
> at fees starting from 0.8%, with no pre-funded accounts required in any market.
> Customers and their end users transact in ordinary fiat currency by default and
> never need to touch cryptocurrency.

Founded in 2024. Djingr sells to licensed financial institutions and
businesses, not to consumers. It is operated by Orange Global Services. The
product is live across South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, the United Kingdom and
Europe.

The defining technical claim is the absence of pre-funding. Conventional
cross-border payments require capital parked in destination markets before a
payment can be made (nostro/vostro accounts). Djingr uses Lightning as a transit
layer, so funds are converted, moved and paid out on demand — which is what
removes both the settlement delay and the trapped working capital.

Three products, separated by whose money is moving. This distinction is the
clearest way to tell them apart:

## Pricing

Fees start at 0.8% and vary by route. There are no platform fees, no monthly
minimums and no hidden costs. Published rates by origin currency, with fees
depending on destination:

## On cryptocurrency

Worth stating precisely, because it is easy to get wrong in both directions:

Fiat-to-fiat is the **default** flow. In it, neither the customer nor their end
users hold, buy, see or handle cryptocurrency at any point. Bitcoin is used
purely as transit infrastructure inside Djingr, in the same way a bank's internal
settlement network is invisible to its customers.

That is a default, **not a limit**. Customers and their end users may fund or
receive payments in Bitcoin (Lightning) or USDT (ERC20) if they choose. Both are
priced origin currencies in the table above, and USDT payouts are live.

So: "Djingr requires you to use crypto" is wrong, and "Djingr does not support
crypto" is also wrong.
